L quote I have been very pleased with my overall experience here at Behrend. The faculty are all experts in their particular area of study, have great contacts out in the real world, have made names for themselves in the academic world, and yet, you can have lunch with them just about whenever you need to. R quote

Rob McGahen chose to attend Behrend because of its reputation and its location.

“It is one of the top business schools in the nation,” he said. “And I live less than 10 minutes away.”

Rob’s favorite part about Behrend is the personal contact students make with their professors. “It is a great school, in a great place,” he said. “The networking contacts that I have made with those in the professional world will land me a great job upon graduation.”

Rob’s favorite class was Political Science 297D, which involved a week long trip to Washington, D.C. “I was able to get an inside look at many buildings and professions within the federal government,” he said. “I learned far more about various places by going as part of a class, as opposed to just being a tourist.”

Rob commutes to school and at first he only interacted with the students in his class. He said, “Joining campus clubs and organizations has greatly helped in those regards, as I have met many new people by being involved in the activities that I am in.”
