The 2008 Penn State Behrend-Sigma Xi Undergraduate Research and
Creative Accomplishment Conference will be held on Saturday, April
19, 2008.
A call for abstracts has been issued, and abstracts are due on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Only electronically submitted abstracts (in Word or WordPerfect format) will be accepted. No abstracts will be accepted after March 5, 2008.
Penn State Behrend students who have received an Undergraduate Student Academic Year Research Grant and/or an Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowship are required to present their results at the conference. Abstracts must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines in the call for abstracts.
The conference is open to undergraduate students in all academic disciplines at all regional colleges and universities and Penn State campuses; graduate student participation is allowed in special cases.
Notification of acceptance
Notification of acceptance will be sent via e-mail on Friday, March 14, 2008. The notification will include information on presentation guidelines and a luncheon agenda. If you have submitted an abstract and DO NOT receive notification of acceptance by Monday, March 17, 2008 please contact Dr. Light's office at 814-898-6160.

Registration
Registration will take place in Roche Hall (see map) beginning at 7:30 a.m. Participants will receive a packet of information which includes a name badge and the abstract book.
