Welcome! Pennsylvania Sea Grant and Penn State Erie, The Behrend College are pleased to present the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Web site, a companion resource to the “AIS of Pennsylvania” poster. This site will provide you with more information on the AIS that are of top concern in the major watersheds throughout Pennsylvania. AIS are an important environmental issue. Each year more and more AIS are brought into our waterways and threaten the delicate balance of our ecosystems. Learning more about the issues which surround AIS can help prevent their spread and can help protect our waterways! Students and teachers can explore the site for information on topics ranging from careers in related fields to materials and resources for teaching about AIS. Enjoy!
