Extension - Fisheries and Native Species

Pennsylvania Sea Grant promotes the stewardship of our coastal
fisheries and native species through science-based outreach. Restoration
efforts in the Lake Erie and Delaware Estuary drainages have led
to improved fisheries in these areas; however, the impacts of nonpoint
source pollution and aquatic invasive species (AIS) remain a concern
to Pennsylvania 's fisheries and native species. Sea Grant staff
is working to preserve the health of our fisheries and native species
through various issues and initiatives, including:
