Greek Life

Male Greek group poses Penn State Erie is home to five fraternities and three sororities. The chapters, along with the Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council, offer opportunities for students to participate in an array of educational, service, and social programs. Traditionally, Greek organizations sponsor events at orientation, concerts, Greek Week, Rush, and philanthropic events.

Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority : a national service and social sorority. The sisters of Alpha Sigma Alpha hold fund-raisers throughout the year to raise money for their national philanthropy project.

Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority : a national service and social sorority. Among their activities, the sisters of Alpha Sigma Tau commit their personal time to Adopt-A-Highway.

Delta Chi Fraternity : an international social fraternity whose members are involved in campus and community services. They hold many service events such as a Bowl-a-thon, which raises money for the Second Harvest Food Bank. The fraternity has won the Greek Week competition three years in a row.

Kappa Delta Rho: a fraternity that recognizes the need for scholastic achievement, intellectual honesty, community service, and personal and group fiscal responsibility.

Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity : a national service and social fraternity. The brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma sponsor an annual Sand Volleyball Tournament for new students during Orientation Week.

Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity: a national service and social fraternity. It has been a significant contributor to the Blood and Living Organ Donor Drives, which are coordinated by the Health Advisory Board.

Theta Phi Alpha Sorority : a national service and social sorority. The group participates in fund-raisers and philanthropic work. The sorority strives to provide its members support and close-knit friendships through social and community events.

Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity : a national service and social fraternity. It has been involved in numerous activities, including a 130-mile walk to Pittsburgh for the Arthritis Foundation and the adoption of a class from Diehl Elementary School in Erie.
