Student Leadership Training and Development Programs

The Office of Student Activities sponsors several leadership programs for Behrend students.  Below, you will find a brief description of each of these programs and a link for more information.

Leadership Unlimited

Leadership Unlimited is a peer-led program that brings experiential leadership development into student organizations, student groups, and other areas of the college through the facilitation of workshops run by the students for the students.

Fall Leadership Retreat

This two-day, interactive retreat to Peek 'n Peak Resort engages and challenges Behrend students through workshops, team dynamics activities, and group discussion.

Community Service

The Center for Service Leadership helps students to enhance their out-of-class experience and learn through involvement in organized community service experiences.  Students will also be prepared to become better leaders - serving others locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Greek Life

Penn State Erie is home to five fraternities and three sororities. The chapters, along with the Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council, offer opportunities for students to participate in an array of educational, service, and social programs.

Orientation Staff

Current Penn State Behrend students are offered the opportunity to learn leadership skills by reaching out to new members of the Behrend community.  Any current students interested in joining the Orientation staff should visit this link to complete the application process.
